Local Deliveries

Janics Supply Company provides free delivery to our customers in Minneapolis/St. Paul and the surrounding Twin Cities area.  For orders that exceed the weight limitations of our delivery vehicle, we will need to deliver your order by common carrier.  These oversize orders consists of multiple pallets, 55 gal drums, totes, heavy equipment, etc.  We will do everything possible to get these oversize orders delivered as inexpensively as possible.  In many cases, our suppliers provide free delivery or a reduced delivery rate based on the dollar amount of your order.  However, there may be a fuel charge by the carrier.   â€‹

Non-Local Deliveries (Shipping Partners)

​Most of our products can be shipped to the 48 Contiguous United States and the District of Columbia.  We do not ship internationally, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.​  The majority of our products are shipped via our shipping partners.

 

We have 21 vendor partner warehouse distribution centers located in 17 states.  Products can be shipped nationwide from these locations. Our regional vendor partner has 4 distribution centers located in Minneapolis, St. Louis, Milwaukee and Chicago, that deliver our products in and out of those cities.  Our commercial equipment vendor has 4 distribution centers located in Georgia, New Jersey, Texas, Nevada and Wisconsin.  They have the resources to deliver products nationwide.

For orders up to 150 lbs. and up to 108" in length, we use UPS, FedEx or SpeeDee Delivery.  These are good for small orders of 1-4 or maybe 5 packages with a combined total weight of less than 150 lbs. that meet their dimension limits.

For orders that exceed 150 lbs. and dimension limits of 108" in length we ship via common carrier.  Items shipped from our supplier or manufacturer often provide free delivery or a reduced delivery rate based on the dollar amount of your order.  However, there may be a fuel surcharge by the carrier.  If you are ordering in large quantities, its best to call Lynn at 612-388-1833 or email lynn@janicssupplycompany.com so we can determine the best and most economical way to deliver your order.  If there is a fuel charge, we will bill separately.

For orders that exceed 150 lbs., but is under the dollar amount to get free delivery, there will be a delivery charge.  We will let you know what the delivery charge will be before we process your order.  If there is a delivery charge, we will bill separately.

We currently don't offer Expedited Shipping.

Please check your order

Please check your order thoroughly upon delivery and let the carrier know of any damages that occurred during shipping.  Janics Supply Company isn't liable for damages during shipment by the carrier.  Title and risk of loss to customer upon tender of shipment to carrier.

Receiving Information

1.  We will need to know if you have a dock.

2.  If you don't have a dock, we will need to know if a lift gate is needed.

3.  We will need to know if there is 53 Ft trailer accessibility.

4.  We will need the phone number and name of contact person who is responsible for setting dock appointments for receiving                     deliveries.

P.O. Box Orders

We do not deliver to P.O. Box addresses.

Third-Party and Manufacturer Shipped Products

The majority of our products are shipped from our vendor partners located across the country.  Estimated delivery dates can vary.  Once your order is processed, most orders are delivered within 2-7 days.  Back Order or Special Orders can have delivery times of 2-3 weeks. Delivery also depends upon weather conditions or other factors beyond the carriers control that that may slow down delivery.

Tracking Number

Once your order is shipped we will email the tracking number that may be linked to your carrier.

​

Accessorial Fees

​Accessorial charges refer to the additional fees or surcharges that shipping carriers apply to shipments under specific circumstances or when extra services are required.  These fees are not part of the standard shipping rates and are billed separately to cover additional costs associated with handling particular shipping situations.

​

Common accessorial charges that may be imposed by UPS, FedEx and other carriers include the following:

​

1.  Residential Delivery: This applies when delivering packages to residential addresses instead of commercial addresses as residential deliveries typically require additional time and resources.

​

2.  Delivery Area Surcharge: This fee is added to deliveries made to remote or less accessible areas where additional effort or resources are needed for successful delivery of your order.  

​

3.  Over Maximum Limits: If a package exceeds the maximum weight or size limit for the chosen service an additional fee will be imposed.

​

4.  Address Correction: The charge is imposed if the recipient's address is incorrect or requires modification for successful delivery.

​

5.  Signature Options: Additional fees are applied for specific signature requirements, such as Adult Signature or Direct Signature.

​

6.  Additional Handling:  This fee is charged for packages that are non-standard in size, shape, or weight, requiring handling during transit.

​

7.  Hazmat Fees: Some of our cleaning products are DOT regulated when it comes to transporting from one location to another, and may require special handling or safety precautions for transport.  All carriers are required to follow DOT regulations.  If any items in your order that are flagged by the carrier that falls under DOT regulations we will let you know what the cost will be.  We will bill you separately for the Hazmat fee.

If you have pre-paid for your order online, we will contact you by email if there is going to be accessorial fees to deliver your item(s) and what that cost will be.  If you decide not to go ahead with your purchase, we will reverse any charges you have paid and credit your debit/credit card.  If you decide to continue with your purchase, we will send you a pay link for you to pay these charges.
